but there's a lot of stuff going on this time around. much of it revolves around the android david (played by michael fassbender) and how he deals with the android ash. the android david is maybe the only truly interesting character in this movie and he's in it, what, a couple of hours? yet i wish he was in more scenes. the android ash is much more interesting and even entertaining than the android david, and the movie is centered on his story. when i thought about this movie, i remembered that the first time i saw an alienmovie i was pretty underwhelmed. i was 14 and i really liked the first movie (actually, i liked it a lot) but i was disappointed by the sequel. i was expecting a lot more action, and it was just dull. but i was enthralled by alien: covenant. it had a lot more action than the first movie (as you might expect, since it's the second one in the series) and the android ash was a lot more interesting than the android david, and the movie was a lot more interesting than the first movie. it had characters you cared about, a good story, great atmosphere, and action that was fast-paced and well-executed. sure, the movie wasn't as good as the first alienmovie, but it was a lot better than i had expected it to be, and it made me more excited to see the third alienmovie, so i have to give it an 8.8. 3d9ccd7d82
